If you are an employee and thinking about bringing a claim in the tribunal, you should do so sooner rather than later as on 29th July you will have to pay a fee of between £160 and £250 to bring a claim . Also you will have to pay a fee for a hearing and that fee is either £230 or £950 .
The idea of course is to try and reduce the massive amount of claims being brought before the employment tribunal.
In addition the rules are changing and an employment judge will look at each case and reply and can dismiss the claim or the reply.
In relation to the fees there is an application for lodging the claim without paying the fees dependent on your circumstances.
